TilBuci, a free software for interactive content creation

Hello everyone! My name is Lucas, and I’ve been developing a free (MPL-2) tool called TilBuci for some time now, focused on creating interactive digital content. The concept is somewhat inspired by the workflow model of softwares like the old Flash/Animate, but with the idea of allowing collaborative creation. For this reason, TilBuci is originally a web tool with some solutions very similar to those found in CMS tools like WordPress or Joomla.

For development, in addition to Haxe, I’m using OpenFL and FeathersUI. The target is always HTML5, even in the export functionalities that the tool provides for mobile applications and computers, where I use solutions from web pages, such as Capacitor or Electron, managing to maintain support for media formats, such as audio and video, in a more consistent way.

Currently, in addition to running from a web server, TilBuci can also be run locally from portable applications (again, using Electron as a solution) and can also be installed as a WordPress plugin. For further information, the project website is tilbuci.com.br - from there you can also find the code repository

The latest version is 22, where I tried to add some accessibility features. Along with it, I updated a short video presentation of the project. If you want to check it out, the link is:

I hope you like it

Oh, and something that popped up here shortly after I made this post… Talking a bit about the integration between TilBuci and WordPress using the plugin on the wpbuilds.com podcast.

I listened to the podcast, it was very interesting—good job!
I tried visiting https://tilbuci.com.br but it is giving an error.

I’m watching your project with interest because I’m doing a similar thing myself, integrating an OpenFL and FeathersUI application with the Joomla CMS. I hope to announce something here soon. I might reach out sometime if I decide to explore doing it on WordPress also. If you ever want to target Joomla I’m sure I could offer suggestions.

Hi Allan, how are you? I’m glad you liked the project (and the podcast conversation)! I’m also interested in your idea. I did consider integrating it with Joomla, but I don’t know much about the system; I’ve always focused more on WordPress, which gave me the basis to adapt TilBuci into a plugin. If you’d like to exchange ideas on any point to help with your project, just let me know

Regarding the website access problem, was there a specific error? Timeout or something like that? Could you please visit it again and see if the problem persists? And also visit the plugin’s website, https://plugin.tilbuci.com.br/, which, even though it’s on the same domain, is on a different server? That way I can get more clues as to where the problem is coming from.

Thank you very much!

I will send you a direct message!
