Is it possible to detect DVDs inside haxe?

I’m helping a friend with their first haxelib GitHub - Joalor64GH/hxDVD: Based off of hxCodec, but better
and I wonder if it’s possible to detect DVDs inserted into a DVD tray, or anything like that. (Since their haxelib is a DVD player & such).

Here is some old tutorial for C++, might be your best outlet. Not really sure why you would want to detect DVDs though, just load from the video file itself?
