Haxe Target Compatibility discussion

Hello Haxe Community,

What is the current approach Haxe is trying to take when it comes to targets compiling, as similar as possible with the least amount of specific target code as needed or more keeping roots to the main target while still having Haxe be compatible.

public static variables hold value even when the class is nulled on Neko and html5 but not for cpp targets.

Not quite sure what you mean by that?

Never mind it seems to be more hxcpp garbage collector manually running then haxe to c++ language, My mistake.
