#haxe IRC channel on freenode?

Is the #haxe IRC channel on freenode still in use, and/or recommended? I see it’s not in the drop-down “Connect” links on haxe.org.

I ask only because I found a link to it on another site, and while submitting a PR wasn’t sure whether to simply add the Gitter chat link alongside, or else to replace it with the Gitter chat link.

The irc channel doesn’t seem to have much use now,
we recommend to use gitter instead which has active usage.
