# Does' haxe4.3.7 'not support' win7 '?

Microsoft officially stopped supporting Windows 7 nearly 6½ years ago.

I’d suggest that if one chooses to continue to use an _abandoned_ operating system, that it’s at their own risk. If you’d like to confirm whether Haxe 4.3.7 “supports” Windows 7 in the ways that you need it to, give it a go.

I installed “Win7” on one of my mechanical hard drives yesterday,  
Then I installed ‘haxe4.3.7 64’, and at the end of the installation, an error popped up ..

I installed the Microsoft “C++. net” runtime library again but it still doesn’t work,  
So my test shows that ‘haxe4.3.7’ does not support ‘win7’
